This is the first cache of hopefully many to come, for Pack 173. Our Pack was staying at Moss Park for our annual trip. I noticed there were several other caches hidden in the park (two of them found by our Pack) and thought it was a no brainer for us to hide one too.
After finally getting approved to hide a cache in the park, I chose our perfect spot. All of the original items contained within the cache (minus the FTF prize) were all made by our scouts (and some parents) in Pack 173. We didn't stop there either. Our scouts camouflaged our container with natural surroundings. A lot of pride went into making this cache ours.
You are looking for a medium-sized plastic container with a screw-on lid. Please ensure that the lid gets screwed back on correctly and tightly when replacing the cache. Please also replace the cache EXACTLY as it was found. Good luck and happy caching and "Do your best". :)
Before you hide a cache in any Central Florida Park you must get it approved BEFORE placing your cache.
Regular Park Admission Fee for Moss Park: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people and $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people.
Park Hours: 8am-8pm
