Hen Holme Island Traditional Cache

Hen Holme Island is located on an Island in lake Windermere easily seen from Bowness Bay, It's the round tiny island dead ahead. Too far for the average person to swim, so you'll need a mode of transport to get there. The island is dry and it's reasonably flat too so it's easy to walk and crawl around. providing some spectacular views.

Located on Hen Holme Island around half a mile offshore from bowness bay, this will require a mode of transport for most geocachers to reach the Island also you will need some waterproof gear and some forward planning on how to get there also a compentency around water, this cache is really for the mild adventurer.
