Nice walk for a stunning vista of Muriwai and the Tasman Sea (with a downhill mountain bike option for those so inclined!)
This cache sits at the top of a ridge looking out over Muriwai, the Tasman Sea and the surrounding forest. There are several walking track options to get to it - one from the south-east on private land (OK to use ONLY with permission from the bush camp who own it) and at least 2 more tracks (open to all) through the surrounding partially logged forest from the west and north. The most obvious track in has been built by mountain bikers and offers a great intermediate standard downhill run all the way back to sea level. Don't let that put the walkers off though - very walker friendly!
The cache is a screwtop jar sized container, and has some keyrings in it
