In order to qualify for finding this cache your longest caching streak must be over 55 days long. If you qualify on that front you can log it is found. However I would very much like you to do one other thing, (Though it is not a necessity for finding the cache) I would like you to say thank you to somebody in your log. I want you to think back to when you first started caching, when you still didn't know caches could be "THAT" small, when you thought your days of being stung by stinging nettles were over, that a travel bug was a dodgy tummy you got on foreign holiday. Now I want you to pick on one or two cachers (past or present) who either inspired, introduced or encouraged you in becoming the cacher you are today and tell us about how they helped you in your log.
As this is a challenge cache about caching streaks I've highlighted two cachers who inspired me to keep going, when the snow was 15" deep, when there were floods and gales, when the clock said 11pm and the torch had to come out as it was "Now or Never", when the car broke down and I had to cycle 10 miles to tick off the days find....
TEAM JALZA...
I was impressed with myself when I realised I'd gone a whole week of caching every day, I wondered if it was possible to go a whole month..... Then I exchanged a couple of messages with Team Jalza, I'd found a cache which had been destroyed and recently replaced with one she had in her bag. I emailed her to say thanks and she was very friendly and gave me a lot of advice and encouragement as a new cacher, then I noticed her stats.. 123 days in a row! Wow I thought, over a hundred... I talked to my son and we set ourselves the goal of reaching 100... perhaps even 123?
AVOS72...
So I was closing in on 100... then I went to my first ever caching event at the White Crow... Remember the one with the Ultra Violet cache and a bird up a tree..? Whilst there I met AVOS72, in horror I then heard he was on 300 and something, closing in on his caching year streak... I couldn't could I..... Apparently I could! We kept in touch and I would like to consider him the first friend I made through caching.
Finally.... Of course anyone who does not meet the criteria for logging this cache (havign a caching streak of over 55 days in a row) will have their log deleted!
