Geocache Description:

A brief stroll through the woods will land you a small lock and lock with some swag! For easiest access enter the woods where the fence and guardrail both end (meet).

As an avid fisherman, I spotted this lake from the road one day. After work, I stopped here and fished for hours. I came up with not even a nibble! Surely there had to be fish in here...could it be the temperature? The moon? Ehhhh, I'll try again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next until I get a fish. I spent several days fishing this spot, several hours a day. Came up with nothing every time. But, it looked like a perfect spot. I love fishing spots that are tucked away in the woods, that no one really knows about. This place was perfect! I finally decided to hit the other side of the lake and trekked thru heavily overgrown brush. I suddently found a big round cement drain. Turns out this wasn't a lake at all, but simply a man made catch basin for road water run-off, which would probably explain why there are no fish. Nevertheless, I enjoy this spot and really had no other reason to go back except for caching!
