Geocache Description:

To encourage more people to walk this circular route I have increased the number of caches to 28.

This cache is one of a series of 38 located on a 9 - 10 mile circular walk starting from the car park at the top of Wrotham Hill.  Potters Mead is another car park on route located on the outskirts of Borough Green.

The series is called Anne Boleyn as she spent some of her life in this part of Kent.

I hope you will agree the route takes you through some nice countryside with superb views. You will walk through the St. Clere Estate with fine views of the house. The estate was once owned by Thomas Boleyn father of Anne Boleyn. A little further on you will pass Yaldham Manor a 14 century manor house. There are good views of the house and the large yew topiary as you walk away from the rear of the garden.

The route I took is fairly obvious and easily plotted on OS Explorer map 147. The route does involve a couple of steep descents and ascents of the North Downs and later a steady ascent back to the car park. The paths are not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.

The route can easily be shortened by missing out some of the caches.

You are advised to take your own writing implement.
