To celebrate reaching 700 caches this week, we thought it only right to place a few more of our own.
They have been placed in the style of Bike or Hike and many other power trails, with as many caches within the shortest possible distance.
We chose this path as it is an area Mr and Mrs C spent a lot of time around in our younger days.
The path can get muddy but is suitable for buggies and all but one cache are placed close to the path. There are a set of stairs to navigate at one point but there is short diversion for buggie users and cyclists.
This is placed in the trees a short distance from Walton lock in the middle of land that used to be part of Greenall Whitley brewery, the rows of cottages you can see used to house brewery workers.
GPS signal can be affeted by trees here even at this time of year, we tried to get the best fix possible and used an average. If you think they need updating please let me know.
