A quick story. When I was last up here, the wind was gusting and there was a threat of evening rain. I met this nice, young German couple. They were fully kitted out to stay overnight in the Mountains and heading for Mesa de Sabinal. I am always eager to learn new routes so I asked them where they were going. They thought that this was the route for Chamorga !! Then it turned out that they had no map, gps or even a compass. I took them to a high spot and pointed out the geography and where Chamorga was.
Let me just say......that this can be an 'unforgiving countryside' There is No Telefone Signal up here. Please, Stay Safe.
