Brook Lane Traditional Cache

Brook Lane peters out into rough track here. You can legally drive to GZ but we really don't recommend it unless you want to damage your suspension. There is on-street parking not too far away near the junction with Redwood Avenue.

The lane is OK for walkers, though strollers and wheelchairs will probably struggle.

  Close to GZ, on the outside of the bend in the lane, is the area known as The Pingot. Few remember that name now, but it was the site of The Pingot well, fed by a natural spring, and at one time there were a few cottages and even a pig pen here - now long gone.
