This cache is hidden in SGL 287 over ½ mile from listed parking coords. Terrain is mostly rolling, with a few trails in the woods, but there will be some bushwacking involved and a steep climb. This one looks temptingly close to the road on the map, but it is NOT recommended you stop along the road - cars fly by here and there is not much berm. You can get a nice view of the valley from the cache. Prize for FTF.

This can be a busy hunting area so it would be wise to wear orange year round, except on Sundays when hunting is not allowed. It is NOT advisable to look for this cache during bear or deer hunting season (except on Sundays). And remember turkey is in season in May and November. You are responsible for knowing and following all gamelands rules.
There is food, gas, and diesel just up the road in Widnoon.
"Xanadu" is a word used to describe contentment, beauty, or luxury beyond belief! It probably describes what most of us feel after we find a tough geocache or are out walking in the woods (and possibly afterwards when we are eating a scrumptious meal or soaking tired muscles in a warm bath - LOL).
