Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Cache Container Testing Field!

What is that, you may ask? It is very simply a series of Geocaches that will test the integrity and how water proof various sorts of containers commonly used are. You find them just as you do any other cache but I will be monitoring them a little more closely and later on ranking container types on their usefulness as Geocaches.

As you log the caches any additional information you can provide me with how the cache is faring will be helpful! Also, most of the containers have two logbooks inside. One is inside a plastic bag and the other will be out just in the container. I expect some of the outer logs may eventually become damp, in which case please switch to the bagged logbook and make a note of the fact that the outer one has become damp. This will help me determine the amount of time it lasted before the inside of the container got damp.

Other than that, have fun!

Cache Container: Decon Container
Cache Start Date: 03-26-14
First sign of leaking: ---
Container Damage: ---

Predictions: Having had experience with these I expect it will fare perfectly fine, unless a cacher comes along and doesn't properly seal it. These are a bit notorious in my book for being difficult to close completely. Any cacher not paying complete attention can leave it slightly unsealed and it will thus leak and likely attract some insect or spider occupants.
