The place is close to a town called chiklamalur in Karnataka. When you take a diversion from the high, there is a jeep trail that leads to >1000 year old temple. There is a "mantap" opposite to temple. The left pillar has the geocache. The home opposite to the temple( 600 year old house) has a geocache guardain. In case you don't fing the geocache, the owner/or his son will be safegaurding it from monkey.
