Made a trip up the river and up the hill and the original cache is gone........
Head up the river from Maupin until you come to the gate and you can't go any farther - about 8 or 9 miles. Right behind the john is a trail heading up the hill. Thre is a gate across the road so please respect it and don't try to drive up to the cache. The map on the DeLorme said this little draw was called Lost Creek. I don't know if that is true or not but it sounds good. As with any area around the Deschutes be careful of slithery things on the ground. Once you get up on top things should be quite obvious.
The cache is a medium small lock and lock with some nice goodies. There is a TB for FTF.
