Geocache Description:

Another installment in the North View 4 Life series. This is a nano container hidden at the posted coordinates. This could prove to be a high muggle area especially during warmer months or baseball season.

Now for some back story....... I chose to hide a cache here in tribute to my life long friendship that began in this very location. The story goes like this. When I was just a little girl (maybe 3 or 4) my brother played on a little league baseball team. The other little girl's brother played on this team also. Smitty's to be exact. Anyway, I had to attend most of his games. And being the girly girl I was I could care less about watching them. So I always hung out at the playground or had something with me to occupy my time. On this particular day I brought along one of my favorite coloring books and my brand new box of colored chalk....yes I said chalk. I spent my day coloring the pages of my book with this chalk. During this game I was approached by a girl close to my age who decided to come over and check out what exactly I was doing. When she saw me using chalk instead of crayons or whatever else, she began laughing at me and calling me a weirdo. This embarrassed me and broke my heart. I was so excited to make a new friend if just to go play with that day. And she was picking on me. That, for some ridiculous reason, stayed with me for years. Fast forward 25 years and she and I are very close friends....ironically. When I realized who she was I told her the story and asked if she remembered it or not. She had no recollection of it. But I do and I giggle about it now. I mean honestly, who colors with chalk?? LEGIT KIDS DO!!
