I could think of no better place to hide my first cache than in one of my favourite childhood spots. The cache is located off a quiet street so there shouldn't be too much of a risk in logging your treasure. There are goats in the area and although they are tethered, please make sure you give them space to avoid spooking them.
I chose this name for the cache because my two sisters, best friend and I would come here to play and pretend the area housed fairies. It looked very different in the early 90's with pristine water cascading over a small mossy waterfall about two meters upstream from the foot bridge. There were a few large and leafy trees which added to the tranquility and helped fuel our imaginations to create our perfect Fairy Paradise. We would set up homemade traps at the base of the waterfall for catching pinfish and tadpoles which we would release shortly after. We would spend hours creating and playing in our booby-trapped cubby house among the blackberries which grew between the paddock and Culpepper Lane. The creek runs alongside the quiet street and through my parents' backyard further downstream. You can retrieve the cache from street level but be wary of the prickly bush, or you could go for a short walk down the embankment through the buttercups but you will most likely leave a trail behind you.
