Close to the road to the Hinton airport and a geodetic survey marker
This cache is located in an old cut block about two kilometres west of Hwy 16 on the airport road. There is a bit of bushwhacking involved on the walk from the road. A nearby survey marker will also allow you to check your GPSR's accuracy after you visit this cache. Complete information about this survey marker can be found here.
Park near the survey marker the coordinates of which are N 53º 19.1513 W 117º 43.1793". The cache is about 230 metres SW of the survey marker. A new road that runs south off the airport road before the survey monument will get you within 90 metres of the cache but it is very soft in spots. I'd still recommend that you park by the survey monument.
You can also log a find for the Brass Cap Cache(BCP029). .This cache is a roving virtual so don't be surprised that the coordinates on the cache page don't match but logging of previous caps is permitted.
