Geocache Description:

The cache is a quick drive by, a canon balls firing range from the castle walls, but not located in the stone wall so don't go pulling out rocks.

Basket Range 8: Yep it's a Castle!

The Eighth cache in my Basket Range series.

Built in 1936, real estate Albert Pinchbeck had his home built of local sandstone specifically to model an English stately home Warwick Castle. It was named Warwick Park and in 1941 changed hands and became a doctors residence and clinic on these extraordinary grounds. A few years later it became a tourist venue serving afternoon teas; then came a period as a private residence until it emerged as the Camelot Castle Restaurant.  It has been the venue for many a large wedding with white horse and carriage being seen on numerous weekends making its ways through the beautiful Basket Range surrounds destined to the amazing gardens of the Castle.
