This cache is placed in honor of the Prescription for Parks pilot program. This is a joint effort between the South Carolina State Park System, the South Carolina Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the South Carolina Childhood Obesity Taskforce. The goal is to get families into the park and to give kids an opportunity for simple, unstructured play. Hoping that we can get lots of kids into the parks to see just how much they have to offer!
This cache is a tupperware container with some small trade items and a little cash for the FTF. Family friendly and a nice first-geocaching opportunity for young children. A moderate hike from the smaller parking/picnic area. Some branches and vines just off the path.
