Picture this timeline…
Day 1: Scouted out potential sites for geocache hides; recorded 7 sets of coordinates, then narrowed down the choices to the best 3 for some future consideration. Made the mistake of mentioning these ideas to Mrs Jollywally.
Day 2: Mrs Jollywally selects some nice containers and says Git ‘Er Done. You know what happened last time… My response, “Sure thing, Huh huh, Yep, You betcha. I’ll git to it.”
Day 3: Mrs Jollywally requests a status report. “I’m still working on it , Dear”. Well, Git ‘Er Done!
Night 3: Ding, ding, ding... A dozen email notifications of new cache hides arrive. Oh goodie, there’s one only a mile or so away. Wait! That’s just about where one of my down-select sights is. GRRRR!!! “Hey Mrs Jollywally, why didn’t you make me Git ‘Er Done sooner?” Oops, not the right thing to say.
Day 4: Permission received from Cedar Rapids Parks Department (check); this cache placed (check); wrote-up description (check); submitted to reviewer (check). Lesson LEARNED -- Git 'Er Done!!! (check and double check).
Whew!!! Am I forgetting something? Oops, I still have those other hide sights in mind. Oh well, I’ll Git ‘Er Done sometime… soon!
I bet this never happened to YOU!
Now here's a test for the first six finders. The initial contents of this cache are 6 matchstick containers pre-loaded with logs. Now it's up to YOU! to Git ‘Er Done and come back here to add a note for your listing. ENJOY AND HAVE FUN!!!
