Geocache Description:

This cache is titled after the "baby" trinket that is commonly found in Mardi Gras king cakes. (I was the lucky one to find the baby in this year's office king cake.)

Primarily found in the U.S. Gulf Coast king cake: The most common trinket has been a small plastic baby doll since the 1950's. Earlier ceramic babies are documented in New Orleans as far back as the 1930's.

You are looking for a small cache--about the size of a matchbook.  BYOP(pen) to sign the log, since it is too small to house it's own... FTF will find the lucky plastic "baby" from a Mardi Gras king cake.  First to find in the cake traditionally gets good luck for the year, so why not FTF in a geocache?!?!  WARNING: Careful with potentially over-eager caching hands! One misstep and it'll be, "Bye bye, Baby!" Into the LA River with ya! :O) (Update 04/05/14: Bye Bye Baby is back... With a little bit of a "safety net"--as it were--suggested by CacheKidz!)
