Arizona Highway 87 runs from Second Mesa to Picacho, Arizona. The portion from Payson to McDowell Road in Mesa is known as the Beeline Highway, and is particularly scenic.
This is a five-stage multicache which runs entirely along the southbound lanes of the Beeline. It is accessible to a passenger car, but is essentially a series of "park and climbs." Long pants, good footwear, and proper hydration is essential. No stage is more than 1/2 mile from parking, but several will be steep climbs, and trails may or may not exist. I recommend you have paper and pencil for recording both stage coordinates and parking areas. Taking a copy of the spoiler pictures can also be helpful. You are looking for a camoed altoid tin at stage 1-4, and a larger container for stage 5.
There are details on each stage in the parking waypoints (for obvious reasons, the actual parking waypoints will be listed in the previous stage container). Special instructions for the final stage: Work up the hill from the west northwest side using easy to find game trails. There are many rocks at the top, but you will NOT need to do rock climbing or hopping to find it. It will become apparent why the cache is hidden on the south end of the hill rather than the north when you get there. Watch for snakes, there are many places they can hide in hot areas.
This is a letterbox hybrid. In addition to the normal logbook and trade items, it also contains a letterbox stamp, inkpad, and stamp book. Please do not remove the stamp, ink pad, or stamp book. THEY ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!
The final has coordinates in the logbook and inside the lid. Once you have found this cache and North Beeline Letterbox, you will be ready for Ultimate Beeline Letterbox.
