Geocache Description:

We've spent 10 years putting out tupperware so figured it was about time to tidy something up! Come and help us tidy up the local community owned playground. Saturday 19th July 12pm - 2pm.

The Norley playground is a community based project that is funded through voluntary contributions and community fundraising. General maintenance such as clearing the moss from under the fences, clearing up the leaves, litter picking, weeding and hedge cutting are all things that reguarly need to be done at the playground.

Please bring gloves, litter pickers if you own them, tools for weeding etc. Urnie the urn will be attending the event and providing us all with teas and coffees.

The playground committee have given their unanimous permission and express delight at a group of volunteers coming to help tidy up this valuable local facility led by Pingu who is a member of the playground committee. Other members of the playground committee will be present on the day to help and instruct us as to what needs doing.

The confirmed jobs that we will be doing are:
- Moving 4 tonnes of play bark from the delivered bags to the area at the back of the playground.
- Planting
- Weeding
- Sanding and painting railings (weather permitting).

We have a shortage of wheel barrows, shovels and rakes for moving the play bark. If you have any of these that you could bring on the day please do.

Also, if you have any plants (particularly shrubs) that you have surplus to requirement or could split in your gardens we would be very grateful for them.
