This is the first ever Norfolk Trails CITO an area badly affected by the recent storm surges and an important part of the Nofolk Coast Path. This event is only possible through the help of North Norfolk District Council and the work of the Norfolk Trails Team.

The date for this event co-incides with International Cache In Trash Out weekend, so come along and be part of  thousands of cachers worldwide who will be helping to make the world a cleaner and tidier place for all to enjoy.

Those attending will also get a CITO souvenir on their profile.

10:30 Meet at the Overstrand Car Park where parking parking permits willl be available from the registration desk.

10:45 A short briefing by tsoutherden giving some information and  the 'Health and Safety' aspects of the event.

13:30 Finish our good work, admire what we have achieved and return to the entrance for prizes and a short debrief.

Important things :
We do need to have some idea of numbers , so when posting your 'intention to attend' please indicate how many people are in your party.

Could you please log your intentions by 22nd April 2014 to enable arrangements to be made.
Thanks.

General Information :-
NNDC will be providing a skip in the car park for all waste collected.

We suggest you keep this cache page on your "watchlist" so we will be able to keep you all informed quickly of any other information if necessary.

This will be the first year for us to to show what the  Geocaching community are capable of and to help clear some of the aftermath of the storm surge that effected so many people in Norfolk.

If you have any questions please e-mail us via our geocaching profile.

General Advice:
Do not work alone and keep a first aid kit handy (already provided for the day).
Always wear gloves and use litter pickers.
