Le Plongeoir du Ghoubet
Vous pourrez rejoindre cet endroit en sortant de la route principale en utilisant la petite piste qui descend à la plage du Ghoubet. Cette piste est matérialisée par un pneu vert au départ et passe au dessus de l'endroit qu'on appelle la "fosse aux requins" (endroit plein de légendes, joli point de vue). Garez vous en bas à ce que les kitesurfeurs du coin appelle "La plage du Ghoubet" (cf. coordonnées).
Vous pourrez y rencontrer des kitesurfeurs ou des gens venus simplement picniquer et profiter de l'endroit. En général, il y a beaucoup de vent.
Pour rejoindre la cache, il vous faudra marcher un peu le long de la plage et traverser une partie du champ de lave, rejoindre la falaise et ensuite je vous laisse trouver tout seul ! Attention car les pierres sont tranchantes et peuvent vous couper. Prenez de bonnes chaussures et éviter les tongs.
La cache est un petit tupperware dans un sac plastique. Elle contient un logbook, 2 crayons et de petits joujoux.
Quand vous aurez trouvé la cache, prenez le temps de faire un petit saut dans l'eau en vérifiant le niveau d'eau sous vos pieds. La cache porte ce nom pour cette raison. Let's jump !
L'endroit est aussi accessible par canoe / kayak depuis la plage. Si vous disposez d'une embarcation de ce type, alors n'héistez pas car la balade sera sympa.
PS : j'ai vu que l'endroit était de temps à autres visité mais malheureusement les gens sont des crados et laissent leurs boissons dans les trous de laves... Ne faites pas comme eux et rapportez avec vous vos détrituts. L'endroit est magnifique, ce serait dommage de le salir.
Les coordonnées vous aideront à trouver la cache mais c'est la falaise qui nous intéresse !
The Ghoubet Diving-Board
You will be able to reach that place using the off-road track from the main down to the "Ghoubet beach". The track goes around the Shark Pit, a place full of legends (a nice viewpoint). Noticed the green tyre on the main road at the beginning of the path.
You can park your 4WD down to what kitesurfeurs call the "Ghoubet beach" (cf. coordinates).
You might be lucky and see some people doing kitesurfing and other just enjoying a simple picnic. Usually this place is quite windy.
To reach the cache you will have to walk a little bit along the beach and cross the lava field to reach the small cliff. From there, just follow the cliff... I let you find your way but there is more than one ! Be careful coz the stones are sharp and you might get cut. Take good shoes and avoid flip-flops.
The cache is a small plastic container with a logbook inside, 2 pencils and some little toys.
Once your reach the cache, take the time for a little jump to the water after checking the level of the water below. I named the cache for a specific reason ! Let's jump !
It's also possible to reach the cache using a Kayak/Canoe from the beach. It's a nice way as well if you have those kind of transports.
PS : I noticed that people are going there and leave there trash in the lava's holes... Please be nicer than them and keep the place as clean as possible. The place is gorgeous and it should stay this way.
The coordinates will help you to find the cache but that's the cliff that is interesting !
