The surname I have is pretty special - there have been many, many famous people and places
did you know for example that in the UK there are 3 places named after me - Howe in North Yorkshire, Howe in Norfolk and a Castle Howe in Kendal, Cumbria
There is even a Howe Road in Loughborough - I would suggest you look into it if you are ever zipping through the area - a few years ago the Shelthorpe Estate was notorious as a hotbed of crime - but the police have cleaned up the area now so it is fairly secure
I digress - onto famous howes, well there is me, my name sake the Canadian Tenor there was even an Admiral Howe ( after which a series of warship has been named, the most recent was the last King George V Battleship, HMS Howe (1940) which saw some action in WW2
