It is now available to all members of geocaching. The Interstate project is over-running the site and I'm afraid an archive is in the future. We are opening it up to all in the hopes that many more can find and enjoy the site before the Interstate ruins yet another part of Pueblo history. Due to private property do not approach this cache from above. Please enter the neighborhood above using 1st/City Center and make your way through it to Kelly Ave. off of Beech St. This will bring you down and around where you should be able to park and walk in. Please only cache here when construction is on off hours. This spot has some history I'm sure. However, I can find nothing on it. Somebody spent some man hours building this place, only for it to sit in its current condition, slowly being buried by wind and rain. Cache was placed as a way to bring people to this forgotten place. If you know anything about this site please post it with your logs.
IMPORTANT INFO. ON CACHE LOCATION - When you get near GZ don't go up anymore, instead find the nearby telephone pole with utility boxes attached. The cache is now right by this pole. Please camo it very well as this is a much busier spot than the original hide. A homeless camp destroyed the original hillside, trees, and GZ.
Terrain is somewhat steep and covered in fine gravel. Can be very muddy at times.
Please ensure cache is hidden very well before you leave.
DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE CACHE EXCEPT THE LOG. TRINKETS, TBs, AND SWAG SHOULD NOT BE LEFT HERE. The cache will soon have to go and this is a last ditch effort to let others find and log it before that happens. THANKS TO ALL THAT HAVE FOUND AND ENJOYED THIS CACHE!
