Geocache Description:

[LT] Kitados Lietuvoje gyveno vienas kunigaikštis vardu Vytenis iš Urbos. Būdamas baisiai turtingu, jis kolekcionavo įvairius senovės artefaktus. Tarp šių trofėjų buvo ir karžygio Visgirto devynmyliai batai, ir laumės raganos brangintas lygintuvas, ir burtininko Jemelio krosnis ant ratukų ir daug daug kitų.

Kartą, atvykusį į Lazdynus, Vytenį sužavėjo vietinių gyventojų svetingumas bei nuoširdumas. Negailėdamas savo aukso kunigaikštis nusamdė tuo metu žymiausią architektą Gintarą, kad šis pastatytų tokią pilį, kokios apylinkės dar nebūtų regėjusios. Joje turėjo apsigyventi pats Vytenis su gražuole žmona Marceliuke. Pilyje taip pat turėjo vykti įvairūs pobūviai ir mugės ne tik aukštuomenei, bet ir paprastiems valstiečiams.

Darbai ėjosi kaip iš pypkės ir pilis augo ne dienomis, o valandomis, tačiau netrukus statybvietėje ėmė dėtis keisti dalykai. Dingdavo žmonės, naktimis girdėdavosi keisti garsai, o vietiniai gyventojai dievagojosi matę tamsius, nežemiškus šešėlius, slenkančius neužbaigtos pilies sienomis. Darbai pakriko. Kad ir kokius Vytenis žadėjo aukso kalnus, niekas nedrįso prie pilies nė prisiartinti. Su didžia širdgėla Vytenis paliko pilį bei visus joje sukrautus artefaktus likimo valiai ir išvyko į užsienį.

Prie pilies žmonės bijo prisiartinti dar ir šiandien. Tie, kurie ten apsilankė ir išnešė sveiką kailį, pasakoja matę du paslaptingus padarus. Vienas turėjo juodą kaip naktis kailį, kitas buvo padengtas aštriais lyg adata spygliais. Šie, tikėtina, iš kokio magiško artefakto išlipę siaubūnai, vietinių gyventojų buvo praminti Juodžiu ir Spygliu.

Jeigu esate pakankamai drąsūs ir tvirti, galbūt jums pavyks susitvarkyti su pilies sargais ir surasti ten paslėptus Vytenio iš Urbos lobius.

[EN] Once upon a time in Lithuania there lived a duke named Vytenis of Urb. His ridiculous wealth allowed him to gather various ancient artifacts, such as the nine-mile boot of Visgirt the Hero, precious clothes iron of the witch, the four-wheeled oven of Yemel the mage and many others.

One day during his visit to Lazdynai Vytenis was captivated by hospitality and kindness of the local people. The Duke decided to build here a castle, so big and beautiful no one has ever seen. Vytenis hired a skilled architect Gintaras ant spent mountains of gold on his wondrous castle where the duke would live with his beautiful wife Marcelline. The castle would also be a place of gathering not only for the noble but for common people as well.

Everything went well and the castle stood higher and higher. But one day people started to disappear, strange noises were heard at night and locals claimed to have seen strange shadows on the castle walls. The construction stopped. No gold could force builders to return and finish what was started. With an aching heart Vytenis left Lazdynai never to return. The castle and its treasures were abandoned for good.

Many years have passed since that day but people are still afraid to come near the castle. Those who were lucky tell stories about two mysterious guardians – one with the black as a night fur, and another with sharp spiked head. The monsters that probably escaped from some ancient magic artifact were named Blacky and Spike.

If you are brave and strong enough to face the guardians, maybe you will find hidden treasures of Vytenis of Urb.
