Little known Cemetery to other than local residents, there are no road signs to indicate anything being there.
Established in 1888, early records have been lost in time. Frederick Ostermann, Master Mariner, Captain of the 1120 ton, 3 masted iron barque, Magnet is buried here after being ship wecked on the coast at Venus Bay after a storm in 1900. There are a number of family burial area's in the old part opf the cemetery
