Start by climbing the style and into a lovely woodland area. This woodland was planted around 1900 while the island was under the ownership of Lady Cathcart. It is an established track but can get really wet and slippy and is rough underfoot in places. The woodland has a majestic monkey puzzle tree and when the gorse is in bloom you will get a lovely coconut scent.
Slip though the fence at the top of the woodland and carry on up. Again it can be wet underfoot.
Near the cashe you will also see a memorial by a daughter for her parents who loved the island very much.
The Cashe is large, in a camoflage bag and will be easy to find under Clach Mhor. Please replace in the same spot.
Once you have found the cashe enjoy the view and you may even be lucky enough to see the plane land or take off.
