Thanks to BilboBaggins for telling me about this interesting spot!
Warning: This area has some hazards close by (old barbed wire, trash, thorn vines, etc. In addition, there may me poison ivy or oak nearby also.)
Please bring trash bags (I forgot them) and help trashout the area.
The container is a 6" wide x 12" long x 4" deep clear Tupperware container with a white lid with the dark green "Geocaching" Official Label on top. (See picture.)
Original contents were: Lots of goodies including a WheresGeorge $5 dollar bill, a WheresGeorge $1 dollar bill, an AQT2 watch, a kaleidoscope viewer toy, a mini dinosaur viewmaster, silk rose, small nerf plane, Official Geocaching compass keychain, and other stuff.
The cache area is fairly easy to get to. It is less than 200 feet from a good parking spot. I have rated it 2.5 terrain because you have to climb down an embankment, then some minor scrub, then a rocky area (and now the summer grass is very high.)
I rated the difficulty 2.5 because the cache is NOT visible (as it is hidden). Teens frequent this area so PLEASE rehide it in the EXACT SAME PLACE and MANNER it was originally when you are through (an make sure it is completely hidden from view!)
Directions: If you are having trouble getting to the site, follow these instructions: drive to 34 57.468'N, 97 01.995'W. Turn West. Drive to 34 57.414'N, 97 02.278'W. Turn South. Drive to 34 55.214'N, 97 02.955'W. (Be careful here!)
Any and all comments are welcome!
