I recently visited with friends the nearby cache, Mt. Cavanaugh Cache, placed almost 11 years ago. My how things have changed since then! When the cache was placed it was a clearcut with a great view. If you look at the cache's photo gallery you will see how things have transitioned from clearcut to Alder to Douglass Firs. (Trees ARE called a renewable resource for a reason!) Sadly there is no view from that cache site now so I thought it would be appropriate to place one where there is one!
With time, I'm sure the view will have to be renewed from here as well!
