2014 CITO Haftasonu / Weekend – Kuzguncuk Bostanı Cache In Trash Out® Event

Bu sene 26 veya 27 Nisan 2014 tarihinde CITO etkinliklerine katılanlar profillerine özel bir Souvenir ekleyebilecekler.

This year, if you attend a CITO event in 26th or 27th of April 2014, you can add a special Souvenir to your profile.

Biz de bu sene doğaya karşı sorumluluğumuzu bu tarihlerde yapalım dedik. Kuzguncuk Bostanı, yıllardır rant kavgalarına sahne olmuş, yapılaşmaya karşı direnen Kuzguncukluların sembolü haline gelmiştir. Yakınlarında, hatta içinde bile Cache’ler olması da burayı seçmemiz için bir nedendi. Sabah buluşup, yaklaşık 2 saat boyunca bostanda fazlaca bulunan çöpleri elimizden geldiği kadar toplayacağız. Daha sonra birlikte yemek yiyebiliriz veya sahilde manzaraya karşı çay içebiliriz.

Ulaşım: Avrupa yakasından deniz yolu ile veya Marmaray ile Üsküdar’a gelip, buradan otobüs ile Kuzguncuk’a ulaşabilirsiniz. Eğer erken gelirseniz Üsküdar – Kuzguncuk arasını yürüyerek  “BOĞAZ KIYISI / BOSPHORUS SHORE” (http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=49ee199f-4b06-44cc-81d9-94388d52c45a) Power Trail’in bir kısmını yapabilirsiniz.

Veya Metrobüs ile Boğaz Köprüsü durağında inip Üsküdar yönüne giden araçlara binerek Kuzguncuk’a ulaşabilirsiniz. Geldiğiniz yöne göre buralardaki “Asya'ya Hoşgeldiniz - Welcome to Asia” - http://coord.info/GC4T7PG veya “Asya’dan Avrupa’ya - From Asia to Europe” http://coord.info/GC4T7DC Cache’lerini de bulabilirsiniz. Yine buradan Kuzguncuk’a doğru yürürseniz yukarıda yazılan Power Trail’in buradaki kısmını yapabilirsiniz.

So we decided to make our CITO event this year at this date. The Kuzguncuk Garden is a symbol of resistance for the citizens of Kuzguncuk, who protected it several times from the occupation of buildings.

There are also several Caches around the spot. We will meet in the morning and collect trashes for 2 hours. Then we can have lunch together or a tea at the Bosphorus shore.

How to come: From the European side, you can take a boat from Eminönü or Kabataş, or the MARMARAY to ÜSKÜDAR first, then reach Kuzguncuk by bus. If you come earlier, you can walk from Üsküdar to Kuzguncuk and find some caches of the Power Trail “BOĞAZ KIYISI / BOSPHORUS SHORE” (http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=49ee199f-4b06-44cc-81d9-94388d52c45a).

Or you can take the METROBÜS and get off at the “Boğaz Köprüsü” stop and take a bus to Üsküdar direction and get off at Kuzguncuk stop. If you come from European part, you can find the “Asya'ya Hoşgeldiniz - Welcome to Asia” - http://coord.info/GC4T7PG cache at the bus stop or if you come from the Asian part, you can find the “Asya’dan Avrupa’ya - From Asia to Europe” http://coord.info/GC4T7DC cache. From the Metrobüs stop you can also walk to Kuzguncuk to have a chance to find some caches of the Power Trail.
