Puzzle
Over the years, we have traveled through the entire state and have seen most of the state parks. Four parks here, four parks there. A lot to see. We really want to visit the last ones again. Just look around and see where they all are, then zip off to visit.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
Three Island Crossing down south was one of the early ones we sought out, but it’s in the middle of nowhere. We visited Lucky Peak a lot when we lived in that area. We also got up to Ponderosa on occasional trips to enjoy the beautiful trees there. While visiting my parents while they lived in southern Idaho, we came across Eagle Island. Not very big though. My dad did a condo swap so we could stay near Harriman and we had a great time skiing and snowmobiling. Very often, we now get up to Round Lake just north of us as there’s lots of caches and the place is fun to just play around, although the mosquitos can be BIG. When we lived down south, we also visited Bruneau Sand Dunes. Largest sand dune in North America. I recommend it highly, but not in the summer. And if you’re in that area, you must get off the interstate and see Thousand Springs. It’s amazing, especially during the spring. Anyway, we live in an amazing state.
