Stop here and take a bit of a rest. Admire the lake views on each side of this peninsula despite the clearcuts and complete lack of large trees on the summit. There is an excellent trail up here engineered with a bunch of switchbacks to ease the steep terrain. It really is worthwhile going Bald.
