This cache is located in Kiplinger Park off the one-mile loop trail. It is close to the parking lot, along the trail to the left of the parking lot, about 30 feet off the trail. Because of a vigorous growing season in 2015, it is a little bit of a bushwack. Please watch out for muggles and replace container contents carefully once you sign the log so that others may enjoy the challenge. YOU MUST FIND and SIGN THE LOG TO CREDIT FOR THIS CACHE. BYOP
This park is a 150 acre natural area bordering the South Fork of the St. Lucie River. The trail can be hiked through a number of eco habitats, including scrub, pine flatwoods, depression marsh, bay-gall and tidal swamp. A boardwalk is found along parts of the trail. Be sure to check out the view from the dock at the St. Lucie River and the new Veterans Memorial Bridge, about 1/2 mile along the trail. There are several geocaches in the park. Go get them!
