Pack yourself a picnic lunch and let's meet in the park for an after-party to the morning event. The Del Rey Lagoon has a great park where you can spread out a blanket and relax with geocaching friends and family. If you are already attending the CITO event at Friends of the Ballona Wetlands, feel free to put together your own picnic lunch from Gordon's Market and head over here, or pack your own PB&J's from home.
This would make a great start to One Busy Day, if you are up for a challenge. We've completed that challenge (though we still need to go sign the log), but will probably make for another even busier day to earn a gemstone badge.
There is a free parking lot for the park on Pacific Avenue as well as street parking nearby, though it is also walking distance from the CITO event, so if you found a great parking spot, you could keep it.
