Coddings Meadow in Royalston, MA is bordered by a series of trails paralleling a quiet section of Lawrence Brook. Here Mountain laurel blooms in late spring, and cardinal flowers and Joe Pye weed in late summer.
This small lock and lock container is hidden along a well marked path beside the Lawrence Brook. It was placed as part of the Stay and Play in the North Quabbin event. You may find several caches from this parking spot. Please bring your own pen, and leave the cache site as untouched as possible. You do not have to leave the trail. From Rte. 2, take Exit 17 and follow Rte. 32N; watch turns carefully. Cross Millers River bridge, bear right onto Chestnut Hill Ave., which becomes Athol Rd. Go 4 miles to the Doanes' Falls parking on left.
