~~Welcome to the Buffalo Creek Preservation Trail (BCPT), which is part of the Carolina Thread Trail system. The 2.1 mile trail is a moderate hiking trail thru the restored piedmont oak savanna- grassland ecosystem, through parts of farmland which is leased out to a local farmer who has implemented Best Management Practices (BMP).
The site address is 7911 Malibu Road Mt Pleasant N.C. or can be located by an existing cache Buffalo Creek Preserve (GC4AE1X). However this cache at the very end of the Trail. We have placed caches all along the Trail with NO Bushwacking at all, they are all Walk-&-Grabs. So, enjoy your Hike experience make some finds and Happy Hunting !!!!!
