CRBT#11 (Carrot River Bunny Trail #11) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

freddycougar: Checked on this one tonight and yes, there is a new business set up here.....there aren't enough cachers out in this area these days to make it worth my time to maintain hides that see minimal visitors so I have decided to archive this cache

thanks to all who visited Carrot River to find this cache in the past...

Geocache Description:

A small lock and lock container near a business that is very busy on certain days of the week and around certain annual holidays, such as New Year's . The manager is aware of the cache, some employees may not be, please do not ask for help from staff.  Thanks!

Welcome to the Carrot River Bunny Trail!  Not all the caches I hide in my hometown will be part of this series, but since I placed many of these new hides just prior to Easter, it just seemed appropriate to honour the Easter Bunny!  Where else would he come from but Carrot River?  You will find that unlike some 'caching power trails' , the Bunny Trail does not go in a straight line or even a logical order.  Have you ever seen a bunny run a perfectly straight line?  Not this one!  No, due to the surplus of snow and mud and maybe a little rabbit catnip to boot, this trail weaves and wanders a bit, but it's all good!  There are things to do and places to see in Carrot River and hopefully this trail will introduce you to some of them.  More caches will be forthcoming, once summer weather arrives.

This is an easy park and grab but please use discretion and stealth when seeking the cache during business hours.  This is a small town, you will be noticed.

Carrot River is a wonderful small town in Northeast Saskatchewan, less than a 3 hour drive from Saskatoon and approximately 4 hour drive from Regina.  Please check out the town's website at http://www.carrotriver.ca for more information.

The Town Office staff and officials are aware that geocaching has finally arrived in Carrot River and they are excited at the prospect of  new geocaching visitors in town.  The CO of these caches and the Town Administrator will work together to educate and inform the locals about the awesome activity of geocaching, but other cachers are encouraged to share information too!  The more cachers in the community, the better!

I hope you enjoy the Bunny Trail smiley!  Have fun and cache on in Carrot River!
