Geocache Description:

Part of a series of caches in the Fifty Point Conservation Area.

Information About the Conservation Area
Fifty Point is a beautiful 80-hectare conservation area on the south shore of Lake Ontario. It offers many family picnic areas in a natural setting while providing opportunities for bird watching, boating, camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, and many sporting activities. There are even separate beaches for people and pets! There is a stocked fishing pond (no fishing license required) with a wheelchair accessible fishing dock.   • There is a fee to enter the park.
  • The park is not open at night.
  • The park entrance is at 1479 Baseline Road, Winona, Ontario ( N43° 13.010’ W079° 37.703’).
Geocaching Summary Information About This Cache
This is a 3-stage multi with an optional webcam challenge. We hope that you embrace the spirit of this cache and enjoy a unique caching experience by completing the challenge.

SUGGESTION
Confirm that the webcam is operational before heading to the park.

  • Stage 1 is at the posted coordinates where you will find an ammo box containing:
    - the coordinates for Stage 2,
    - a Noteboard pouch containing a portable whiteboard, and
    - a set of dry-erase markers.
    To participate in the webcam challenge, take the pouch and markers with you to Stage 2. In one of the whiteboard squares, sign your geocaching name.

  • At Stage 2 count the number of flagpoles beside the Fifty Point Marina sign.
    To complete the webcam challenge, snap an image of youself holding the whiteboard on the Fifty Point Yacht Club webcam (www.fpyc.ca/webcam/). If you have a mobile smart device with Internet access, you can snap the image yourself; otherwise, phone a friend who has Internet access and who can snap the image for you.

  • Stage 3 is at N 43° 13.52X' W 079° 37.X50', where X = (number of flagpoles) + 3.
    If you participated in the webcam challenge, return the whiteboard and markers to the ammo box enroute to the final.
