Congrats to nyc-slc for the FTF!!
This cache can be obtained from the sidewalk. Do not cache on the road. The cache is log only, so please BYOP. It is well hidden, but not at all camoed. One of the ends is decorated with a bottlecap provided by my daughter. Please replace at least as well hidden as you find it.This is a high muggle area! Extreme stealth may be needed!
The cache in not at the posted coordinates! It is actually at N 40 XX.XXX W 111 56.350. To fill in the blanks, please figure out the puzzle from the 2 paragraphs below. Enjoy!
This was placed in front of my workplace. I transferred
to this store from another in West Valley about two
weeks prior to placing this. I like the fact that
I am busier here because shifts go quickly, even if
they are longer.
I love geocaching! I get loads of good exercise, especially
when caching in the foothils of the Wasatch, or its
many canyons. One day prior to placing this hide, I
was hiking and caching with my daughter, her fiancee, and
our two dogs. We took the Pipeline Trail in Millcreek
Canyon. We made two finds there: Salt Lake Pipeline Trail
Overlook and Rattlesnake Surprise. We actually did see a snake!
I took lots of pictures, so please check out the
gallery for Salt Lake Pipeline Trail Overlook. After re-checking the
Geocaching map, I noticed that we walked right past PIPEarazzi.
Anyway, I also found a great spot for a hide
of my own on the Rattlesnake Gulch trail. I plan
on using a lock and lock container that I had
along with me so the dogs could take drinks of
water from it. It occurred to me that if I
do use that for the container, it should be just
a lil off trail (to reduce likelihood of it being
muggled). Also, I should include in the description that cachers
that bring their dogs are encouraged to use it to
help their doggies' thirst. There are many neat hides in
Millcreek Canyon. My favorite of all time is Haus of
Hans. I recommended this to many cachers. A couple of
whom have already signed the log and left a favorite
point. One geocacher even included in their log that they
wish they could give it all the favorite points that
they have saved up. Take Dogggie on a nature hike, check
out not just Millcreek, but any of the canyons along
the Wasatch.
