IT'S FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH!
Denny's @ 5:00 pm, Send off @ about 6:00 (advice on these times would be helpful)
I keep hearing great things about "Necropolis of Britannia Manor III" (GC2B034) and thought this coming Friday the Thirteenth would be a good opportunity to have some fun. This event is intended as a chance to:
- Meet and share about some of your scary/unexplainable geocaching (or everyday life) events,
- End a day of caching if you already have evening plans,
- Send off AstroCAR on his first trip to the Necropolis (you do not have to go), and/or
- Join AstroCAR on his first trip to the Necropolis. (write a note if you want to join)
Even though I do not believe in the supernatural, I still like a good scary story and enjoy meeting different people. Please post in the comments if you want to join in the quest. If we have several people, we could possibly send off in two groups (not sure... if someone has experience with this, I'd love some insightful wisdom from beyond).
This cache states that it can take several hours and suggests starting before things close down (sunset is at 8:33 pm). The Necropolis also has a lot of clues and supplies needed to start the quest. Be sure to visit the geocache page if you are joining us to make sure you have what is needed. I will print out a few sets of cache notes to share.
