Geocache Description:

Our first cache hidden. Should a quick, easy park & grab. Child-friendly. Please don't do this cache after dark, you might have the neighbourhood watch after you.

Padfield Park and Padfield Road still exist (for the time being, anyway). According to Pioneers Progress which deals with the settlement of Pinetown, New Germany, Gillitts, Hillcrest and Botha's Hill, Padfield Park was so named by Denis Padley Field, son of John Coote Field and grandson of William Field. Field's Hill (between Pinetown and Kloof) was named after this family.

The cache is located in a quiet leafy cul-de-sac in the Manors/Padfield area. Please be respectful of the residents & the surroundings. Open cache container carefully & please return it to the position it was found in. If you remove a momento, be sure to leave one in its place. No need to bring your own pen.
