This cache is based on the four Indiana Jones movies. He was a great adventurer and always willing to do whatever it took to find the "treasure". There is a cache for every movie so it might be helpful (but not necessary) to have some knowledge of them.
The caches each have part of the final cache coordinates on them using the following table:
North 4 A B C . D E F West 0 7 G H I . J K L
They are all in the area of the Keuka Outlet trail. It is a public accessible trail running from Keuka Lake to Seneca Lake. It is good for hiking and biking. Some bushwhacking may be necessary at times (Indiana wasn't afraid of a little off road action). And, as it is a trail through the woods near water, bugs may be prevalent at times.
The first cache is about Reggie, a character from near the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
