Trying to place a couple of new caches in the area. Found this trail system along the river while enjoying the nearby park. I don't think it's used very frequently, but it's a nice trail for walking or riding bikes. Depending on how far you go you can even have a picnic along the river. There are a couple of ways to get here, but I recommend going past the apartments on the north end of Borden Ave. by Piers and continuing behind. Cross over the railroad tracks to find the trail head. If you park at the sign there should be a white building with a fence. Go to the right of the fence for the trail. If you would like a longer hike, drive over to the left and there is parking and a nice trail that leads around. It's well taken care of. These trails are open from dawn until dusk. This cache has a log and a pencil, but is too small for trade items.
