I decided to try this again, but closer to home. The coordinates are behind an island on New Hogan Reservoir (my home lake), where there are several caches. If a fisherman has planted himself at the site, It may need to offset just a bit. When you get close to the coordinates, look for a small yellow kayak or a group of mixed vessels.
The actual event will be a half hour (or longer) lunch (bring your own) on the water starting at noon near the listed coordinates. Your task is to decide where to park (You can contact me at Madamsgriz@aol.com if you have any questions), and then to get your favored special equipment to the site. There are at least four places you could launch to access this event, including a paved ramp for a fee. After lunch, we will scatter, or link up with new or old friends for your own exploration. If you find a silver Ford Ranger with a TB magnet, you will have found where I parked for this.
The caches here include regular, puzzle, and Multi. One of the caches is found with the help of a pirate map. You might find a bit of research into the puzzle caches here to be helpful. At least one puzzle is designed to be solved on site with the information available there.
