Peres river is descending the eastern slopes of the ridge of mountain deer, through a course of 17 km. The river was an ancient Roman road.
The cache it self is located near the green path at Peres waterhole. You can get to it by taking the red path from road 25 and then changing to the green path. Or with a 4X4 it’s practically a drive through cache.
If you will continue with the green path you will reach a 50 meters waterfall just before Peres river meets Tamar river.
Peres River ends in cliffs, and there are those who believe that the river marks the southern boundary of the Judean Desert
After the floods season you can see water in the waterholes and even swim in them.
