Geocache Description:

... well it was more like a menagerie really, and so for that matter did his 8 sons.

I asked Mrs BoS to give me a theme for my next puzzle cache.
Being a farmer's daughter her answer was instant.
I have just expanded it to include fauna as a whole.

You are looking for a film can containing logbook only.

Back to the MacDonalds. Each man ran his own enterprise.

But there was more to it than that.
Cameron and his sons all collected according to a family tradition that originated with Noah MacDonald a great many generations in the past.
To tell the truth, it was almost antediluvian, although they'd only been singing about it for the last hundred years or so.
The family tradition had to be upheld and had to accord to one single, simple rule.
But it was meant to be a secret.
You need to work out what the secret was.
By doing so your chances of solving the puzzle are significantly improved
but there will still be a great number of possible combinations to sort through.

You have to complete a grid using only species** presented to you in given groups. By no means all of these are to be used to complete the attached grid.

To help you in your quest, it so happens
that the following facts hold true:

No two men collected the same species.
No one man collected more than 2 species from the same group.
No species can appear more than once in a collection.
Noah Jr collected fewer Domestics than Alistair.
He also collected fewer Swimmers than Alex.

Now complete the grid with the names of each man's collected
species in order to find the co-ordinates.

Assume N51 and W000.

** To avoid argument each given animal name is a species even if experts might argue otherwise.
