Countess of Chester County Park has recently received funding for 2546 trees and shrubs has been secured from NHS Western Cheshire. This is part of the redevelopment of the old Deva hospital.The Asylum eventually closed in 1991 and since then has been completely derelict. Development and demolition work is currently underway.
