Used to be full of weeds and people dumping trash. But all that changed about a year ago when the City of Hayward, I assume, cleared the area, planted trees, spread tan bark on the ground and added large rocks. I wonder who is caring for the area now...weeds are starting to grow again... Wouldn't it be nice if everyone who finds this cache pulled one weed, if that might take care of the weeds? Personally I wouldn't visit this area after dark. And I would always try to have a partner. Let me know what you think... Lets see if this works out with no hits for now. If you locate the container, please note exactly where it was situated, this seems to be the best spot so it doesn't get lost. Thanks! BTW, after noting two no finds I checked things out... and returned the container to it's original hiding spot. 6/28/2015
